Justice is finally served

Don't get me wrong I have nothing but love and respect for Jub jub but i feel that there was no need for his case to be dragged on for so long. His irresponsible actions have lead to the deaths of young Innocent school children who didn't deserve to die the way they did, some of the children that were involved in the accident are left crippled and with no hope since their lives are no longer going to be the same. I am happy with the fact that they were denied bail, this is an example that is long over due to show South African artists that even though they are famous and rich but they are not invincible when is comes to the laws of the country. Jub jub should have been leading by example but instead he let all his fans and followers down and for that i feel he should be punished.

Its to bad that such talent is now going to waste for such stupid reasons. Everyone should learn that your actions will always predict your future. the best thing to do is to think before doing anything, thinking has never killed anyone before, its completely harmless. Now i am just waiting on the final verdict, i hope it is going to be fair on the families that have been suffering such great pain for the last two years. They deserve to finally make peace with what has happened.

Sugar daddy

I was shocked earlier this week when talking to an old friend who i haven't seen in over a year. While doing some catching up she mentioned how happy she was with the new man in her life, according to her this new man does everything for her financially. She has always been attracted to older men but i thought it was a stage that was going to pass. This man of hers is  56 and shes only 22, shouldn't this be considered illegal.

Its shocking that in this day and age with all the diseases we have you still get girls who have their whole lives ahead of them still talking about sugar daddies. I mean what good can come from an old man who's old enough to be your grandfather but still thinks it's ok for him to buying stuff for you in return for sex. This is just my opinion and i think it is just a sick individual who came do such.

To the ladies, it is about time we start doing things for ourselves and stop depending on other people to give us the good life that we should be working for. Nothing comes easy and nothing that comes easy is ever good, work for what you want and you'll have no regrets at the end of the day.

Doing good for the community

I have a huge passion for Non governmental Organisations that work with children but this particular NGO has really touched my heart because they are working with a situation that not a lot of people would want to work with.

Nsusumeto Community Development is a Non Governmental Organisation that was founded by Imelda Nozipho Tsosoane, a retired nurse from the east rand in Kempton Park. This organisation does home based care, taking care of all the terminally ill patience who can not get themselves to their local clinics to get their treatment for their chronic diseases. Nsusumeto is a group that consists of retired and registered nurses and some young people who are volunteers in the organisation. The group members meet every morning and go to these patients houses to bath, feed and give them their treatment and because some of the patients can not go to clinics because of their ill health Imelda and the other members do the necessary tests on the patients.

The volunteers come together once a week to come up with new ideas for their outreach programs. The money for their outreach programs come form the founders pocket which sometimes is not enough to host the whole function. I t costs the founder more than she can afford as she is retired and is dependant on her pension fund, but because she is passionate about the cause that she is running she does not complain to much about it.

Not everyone can do what Imelda is doing for the people in her community, especially knowing that you wont be getting anything in return. People like Imelda have to be recognised by the government and rewarded for all their hard work and dedication.

Cwele starts her 20 year jail term

Cwele is the name that everyone is talking about, since she handed herself over to the police and charged for being the master mind behind drug trafficking and using people to transport the drugs to other countries. Goes to show that crime does not pay, she is now going to miss out on the things that will be happening in her children's lives. By the time she comes out she may even be a grandmother, which means she will also miss out on her grandchildrens births. Sad but true...

Now this is a rather serious topic but it got me thinking about what i would do if i knew that i was going to be in prison for 20 years and only had a number of three days as a free women. First thing is first i would spend as much time with my loved ones, go on a shopping spree with my loved ones, have as much me time as possible, spend the very last day in my bed eating my favourite food and having my favourite drinks with a special somebody. Now this is just to name a few.

Euthanasia

Today in class we discussed a rather interesting but touching topic, which is Euthanasia. Euthanasia also know as "mercy killing" is a way of painlessly ending a persons life with the "human" motive of ending ones suffering.

Now i have a huge problem with us human beings playing the role of God, isn't it enough that scientist are coming up with different ways of proving that they can create what God has created now people want to decide when a person should die. As a christian i believe that everything has it's time and place, therefore each and everyone of us has a time that has been allocated not by scientists, doctors or our families but by the Lord. So who are we to make those kinds of decisions for people.

I am 100% percent against it and if you are selfish enough to put your selfishness before another person then you will have to answer to the man above. If you truly love and care about someone you will have hope that there will be a change in that persons health or condition, you don't just lose hope.

I may be saying this because i have never had to face such a situation but taking in to consideration what i have been through with a loved one passing away in hospital, i know that i never not even for a second lost hope even though her condition was getting worse by the day. I prayed for strength and the will to carry on and when God finally remembered her i said thank you that she is now in his care and at a better place. Which is why i can never understand why some people just give in without even thinking about the chances of that person waking up one day.

The power of letting go

Sometimes holding on to something does more harm to you than you realise, letting go of something or someone that has a hold on you can never be easy or pain free but you will never know the end results until you actually take that step in the right direction. Just out of my personal experiences i have learnt that it is always hard to let go but you will never be happy if you keep on holding on to something or someone that keeps on weighing you down. The moment you decide to put yourself first an do what will make you happy and not the next person, you will start seeing change- good change.
This is just something that i wanted to share because i know i am not the only one who has a tendency of holding on to things that can never do any good in my life.

My love for RnB musuc

There is just something about RnB music that always touches my heart when i listen to it. I can't deny the fact that i am and always will be a sucker for love, hence my taste in music. Although i have noticed that the way RnB music use to be written back in the days is so much different today. I feel that RnB artists today are just righting music just to make money, there is no longer a true meaning behind the words. I have an endless number of favourite RnB artists and it gets me all excited just thinking about them cause of their music and the memories i have with these particular artists songs.

Brandy still rocks my world till this day but mostly with her old songs, I still find myself deep in though whenever i listen to her songs which in my books is a clear sign that they were definitely doing something right back in the days.

Songs like Come closer, Have you ever, Broken hearted, Truthfully By Brandy and the list goes on and on got me through a lot of things in my life and also bring back a whole lot of bitter sweet memories. Can't begin to express my love for this women.

Now I have always been a fan of Mercedes-Benz cars and it's for the obvious reasons, everyone that loves the brand as much as i do would know why but like everyone else I have my favourite. The Mercedes E-Class is just to die for. I just love the fact that it is a luxury,comfort and modern car, I can surely see myself in one of these Mercs. Don't get me started on the interior and the unique features, in my opinion BMW has nothing on Mercedes. Now this is what I call eye candy.

Just my observation

Just one of the million things that puzzle me about the male species. I have noticed that men seem to me more interested in a women when she is in a relationship and sometimes even married, but isn't that just pushing it- i mean where do you thing it will end? nothing good can ever come out of a one sided relationship. I believe that a man who truely loves you will never want to share you, I mean every women want to be the ONE now why doesn't he want to be the king of your heart. He doesn't mind settling for 2nd best, now that should tell you about the mans hidden agendas. Guess some things will always remain a mystery when it comes to the male species.
CONFUSED FOR YEARS...

PURE STUPIDITY

IZIKHOTHANE is a very well known term used to describe a group of youngsters who come from very poor areas but for some reason thing that they are rich and can waste money as they please. Izikhothane is usually a group of teen age boys who come together every now and then to boast about their branded labels, the amount of money that they have, and the expensive drinks that they can afford. To my surprise as i was going though the Internet i noticed that young girls are also going into this stupid tradition. It is expected of you of boys to act in such a manner, but girls? I'm shocked, young girls should know better than to do such things. This all goes back to our up bringing, these young ladies are putting their mothers to shame and they should be ashamed of themselves as well.

A BRIBE FOR A PASS

It has become a norm for people to cough up extra money to get their drivers license, whether you can drive or not driving instructors demand a bribe in return for a definite pass. If you don't have the money you are destined for a fail. The bribe varies from R 1000- R 2000 sometimes even more. I remember when my driving instructor told me to bring R 1000 on the day of my practical test, i ask what would happen if i didn't and he laughed and said "you don't want your drivers license neh". I had heard people talking about this money that has to be paid for a pass but i thought it only applied to those who actually failed their test. This is becoming very common and normal even though we all know that it is wrong, but everyone wants their license at the end of the day. going to the driving school can become a drag, especially if you have other things to do. These people have to be named and shamed, WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BEING PROFESSIONAL?

THE HEART

It is said that the heart sees what the eyes can't see, and feels what the mind can never feel. Which means we should be able to trust and rely on the decisions made by the heart. well judging from the things that i have been through i take it my heart is blind and sometimes has no feelings.

Must say that the heart plays a major part in everything that we do, but sometimes i wish i had a way of letting my mind take over instead of my heart making all of the decisions that sometimes turn out to be not so wise. I've heard a number of times that when ever you are in a good mood and listening to a song, you don't take much notice of the words, but when you are hurting you feel like you can relate to the words which makes you feel even more miserable. Well i blame the heart for these type of feelings that are a result of the choice that our hearts decided to make.

the heart is responsible for a lot of choices that we make, one being the people we choose to love. this isn't always a bad thing but becomes a problem when the people we choose to love try it right back in your face. Guess the heart isn't psychic but feels what it should be feeling at the time.

DESPITE ALL THE HURT AND PAIN I STILL LOVE MY HEART FOR THE PEOPLE WHO I AM HAPPY TO LOVE, BUT AT THE SAME TIME LOVE MY MIND FOR THE THINGS IT HAS OPENED MY EYES TO...

REFLECTING

One of my worst bad habits...

I've noticed that when I'm at my happiest i tend to forget about the people that are always there to be a shoulder to cry on, and when I'm at my lowest three people always come into mind because they have a way of always putting a smile on my face even when there's tears in my eyes. Two of the guys have told me about this habit of mine but i never really took it to heart until the one guy passed away and now it's as if his words are haunting me.

We all have bad habits but it's not always easy to change more especially when you are not aware of them. My pledge to my late friend George is that I'm going to work on this habit of mine and start appreciating my two remaining "bosom" friend Lunga and Ayanda.

I am lucky to know one of my worst bad habits that could lead to me losing the people closets to my heart, it's time you reflect on your life and maybe ask the people closest to you to tell you what they don't like about you and maybe you can start working on it before time runs out.

May your soul rest in peace George, you've always been good to me even thought it took your passing away for me to realise how special you really are.

MEET MY MR WRONG

This guy has brought more tears to my eyes than anyone before, he has given both joy and pain, we've had more ups than downs but yet i still turn to him when the going gets tough. He's definitely not what i had in mind when i was picturing my prince charming but he found a way in to my heart. With this guy i learnt how to love an imperfect person perfectly, he makes A LOT of mistakes that sometimes make me regret the day that i met him, but at the same time makes it so easy to forgive him with no doubt in my heart what so ever.

He's tough me to be patient, understanding and the true meaning of forgiveness and love. He has been my shoulder to cry on, my punching bag, my best friend,my worst enemy but most of all my ZULU LOVER :-P. We've shared so much and learnt so much about each other, all this has helped us grow into what we are today and we can only wait and to what time will reveal.

FRIENDSHIP

What is a friendship?

According to my understanding a friendship consists of people that one would call friends and friends are the people who's duty is to give support, give good advice, be there in good and in bad times, people who would never go behind ones back but tell you to your face when they have a  problem with you, people who would burn your boyfriend alive for breaking your heart, people who would do anything to put a smile on your face when your down and out, people who would hurt your feelings by telling you the truth instead of lying to your face just to spare your feelings.

It's not that easy to find such people and that is why many of us have fake Friends in our friendships. You may not know who is real or fake yet, but as time goes by and as you get older and wiser don't be surprised when you start losing people whom you ones called your friend(s). Just keep in mind that if they were real to begin with they wouldn't have left your friendship. Count your self lucky if you still have the very same circle of friends that you had back in high school. For me- lets just say time has revealed all truth, and i am glad i know exactly who i can rely n when i find myself going through some tough times.

IT'S ALL IN THE EYES

They say the eyes are the window to the soul, in other words alot can be told about a person just by looking into their eyes. The different colour of the eyes also says alot about a person as well as the shape of the eyes. It is said that if a person has dark slanted eyes, they are mysterious. Blue eyes are the most loved because it is said that if you have blue eyes your a bubbly, friendly person. Green eyed people are the more serious type of people and are believed to be less friendly.

Now I've got dark slaunted eyes and I've been told on many occations that I have naughty, mysterious eyes. Hmmm... guess this is just people's opinions.

I'M PROUD TO BE A WOMEN!!!!!!!

I am a women, I tend to love too much, forgive too quick, thing too hard and care more then I should. It's in my nature to think with my heart and not with my head, which is the reason why we end up getting our hearts broken. We as women are always looking for the good in people and tend to turn a blind eye to the evil in them. We love people even after they have broken our hearts repeatedly. We cry our selves to sleep at night, but wake up with a bright and beautiful smile on our faces in the morning. No one can see how much we hurt because of the cover (smile) that we wear in the morning that covers all the hurt and pain that gives us all the sleepless nights.

Even with all our sensitivity I have learnt to love unconditionally, smile even though I'm hurting, walk up straight even when I feel down and out, advise people when they have problems even when I have my own. It makes me happy to help others even when I'm also in need of help. I'm a comforter, a lover and an adviser to so many people who don't appreciate my being there, but I'm still there despite all their ungratefulness.

I'm a mother, a daughter, a sister, a lover, an aunt but most importantly  I'm a women...

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ANGIE MUST GO!!!!!!!!!!

Our minister of basic education seems to be full of it these days, she's all talk but no action. Her statements "I am not a driver of the delivery trucks and i am not a teacher I am just a minister, how should i know what happens in the classrooms" showed how much she really cares about her role in the government. A person who says such thing shouldn't be in her position. someone who really cares about South Africa's basic education should be appointed. this is just one of the reasons why our education in South Africa is so poor. I personally thing that the first step that should be taken into saving our education is to start off by giving this big mouth a boot, she doesn't care about other people so why should we care about her. Our future generation deserves better and Angie really isn't doing any justice to our future generation.

Joys of motherhood

I finally know the true meaning behind these words. Being a mother doesn't only come with the joy of seeing your little one for the first time, but it comes with a whole lot of responsibilities and soul searching. It changes one as a person in the sense that you grow within a matter of hours after realizing that, that little helpless life is fully dependent on you and only you. The greatest thing I've learn t so far is to love unconditionally and to be patient. The story of my joys as a mother has just started and I'm looking forward to all the experiences that are yet to come.

Cohabitation before marriage

Things have changed along with time, having that big white wedding before having kids or even moving in together is now a thing of the past. Couples now a days prefer moving in together before getting married either to get to now each other better on a much better and different level, or just for the fun of spending more time together without having to cough out any cash. in most cultures and all religions it is believed that cohabitation is a sin, but what makes couples do this? Some of the reasons that i got from friends after discussing this topic are; it's cheaper, less hassle when things don't go as planned, to get to know each other better, to avoid divorce and having your things taken away (if you marry in community of property), and lastly to get use to your partner before making the decision of marring that person and spending the rest of your life with that person.

In my own opinion i believe that if you feel its wrong nothing or no one should convince you otherwise, if that's the way you were brought up and you turned out fine then why should you change. on the other hand if you see nothing wrong with it and you feel you can't wait long enough for marriage, then go ahead just as long as you know what you are doing. I feel that if you are young, beautiful, ambitious you should have higher standards and that man should work hard to earn the money to marry you and give you the life that you deserve. Living with a boyfriend should be left for older women who have been married before.

The 2012 SAMAs were a complete waist of time to watch and im sure im not the only one who thought so. What ever happened to creativity or thinking out of the box? S.A really needs help when it comes to coming up with fresh and creative ideas for our awards. I mean why would they bring people like Sipho 'Hot sticks ' and Arther to MC the awards,  of all people.

They say money can't buy you love

They say money can't buy you love, but yet that's what girls in this day and age still go after. I've had discussions with friends and none of them would date a "broke guy". How important is money in a relationship? and what comes first when you meet a guy? Is it so wrong to date someone who is a student just like yourself or a person who is unemployed like most students? I guess there are a lot of benefits that come with dating a guy with money, but what happens when he loses his job or he can't do the things that he does for you financially. Will you go out and find someone else?

In my opinion i believe that money in a relationship is just a bonus, it shouldn't be something that your relationship is based on cause then again money and material things are earthly things that we found here and like it or not we're going to leave on this earth. My advise would be for you to go for someone who you love despite the things that he has or doesn't have.

Bad Habits

Why are bad habits so hard to drop?One of my bad habits are going into peoples messages especially on my other half's phone. I can't help it, the moment i get left alone in a room with his phone the first thing i do is go to his in box, then out box lol. I always feel bad after cause i wouldn't want him going through my phone while I'm not there.

There's a saying that goes "you shall find what your seeking for" and funny thing is I'm always looking for something bad, but never find anything. it's either this saying has to be rephrased or that day is still coming. Hmmm i just wonder #serious face#. I've tried so hard to stop but I always feel as if he's phone screams out my name when I look at it. I should get help, I'm sure that there's some kind of therapy for people suffering from this obsesion-right...

Cultural Myths

When my family found out that i was pregnant i was told not to involve too many people in my pregnancy. i was told not to tell a lot of people about it, not to tell people how far i am, the sex of the baby and not to go out at night. i was also told not to go to my boyfriends house and not to spend nights there. Sadly i have broken all those rules and now that I'm going to be giving birth soon it's got me thinking if there is any truth behind all the"myths" that i was told about. Maybe my gran is a bit old fashioned, or maybe careful cause now a days you don't know who your real friends are. Hmmm...i guess this will only be answered in a few months time. I hope i won't regret anything though. Crossing fingers and toes.

Self Respect

Things that happen in this day and age are really shocking. it's as if people don't care about the message they send through by the way that they act and how they do things. Dressing in some skimpy clothes and not minding how you carry yourself, showing things off that are supposed to be covered by clothing. I mean that's the only reason why clothes were made. So ladies respect yourself in order to get respect in return, if you don't do so then don't be surprised when people treat you with no respect.

Mandela in hospital

Our former president Nelson Mandela created such a stir over the weekend, it's as if people are just waiting to be told that he has past on or something. journalist were all over looking for the hospital that Mandela was admitted into, and at the same time taking the risk of getting arrested. All this drama in the hope of hearing that he has passed on, i can't help but wonder what the world is going to turn into when he does really pass on. I'm sure the world would come to an end and people won't leave their houses mourning the death of our former president. I'm not saying that it is a bad thing for our country to be worried about our hero, but i thing his private life should left out of the public eye. that is one was of us showing him respect because everyone has the right to a private life and for their private life to be respected.

An impresive budget speech

For once the our country received good news from our government, good news being an increase in the funds for education and health. these two are the most important yet the less considered by our government. since the government is now "walking their talk" maybe everything else will improve in terms of the promises that are made to us by our government. I'm also happy about the increase in tobacco and alcohol prices, this means a lot of people will realize how expensive it is and maybe consume less or even consider quiting. In my opinion the budget seems promising and fair.

Kelly's come back

After being away from the music industry for a while and her relationship with Molemo Jub Jub Maarohanye, as well as giving birth to their son. kelly is back with stories about her drug addiction, her abusive relationship with our all time favourite music star Jub Jub. Kelly also claims that she went to rehab and is now drug free, could all this be a stunt just to get back into the music business and a stunt to win her fans back. why is she talking about all of this just when she is about to release her new album. personally i think this is all just a come back stunt from our "self proclaimed virgin".
